Wherever the sunflowers are is summer
calling the butterflies to feast and the gold finch to sing
Wherever the sunflowers are is cheer
neither night nor stormy days could dim
Guileless faces, untouched by care,
in their heart is the certitude
the sun is always there.
Beautiful.
Thank you. đŸ™‚
Wonderful flowers and photo. Filled with so much light.
Your poem matches the sunflower in its light.

Thank you so much, Miriam. Your words are kind and encouraging.
Hi, Imelda, good to read one of your poems again. đŸ˜€đŸŒ»
THank you, Jenna. I am glad to break my poem-drought. It has been difficult to think much less write a poem. I have this feeling that I have written all that I wanted to say and therefore, I could not write anymore.
