LOVE LETTER

dighton-rock
This sandstone boulder, dug up from Taunton River in MA, shows inscriptions that experts claim to be either Phoenician, or Native American, Portuguese, or even Norse/Viking made. The rock is now in an enclosed area in the Dighton Rock Museum in Dighton, MA.
 Love
 letters
 engraved on
 a rock promised
 forever and such.
 sweet sentiments endured
 while time and elements weathered
the ardor engraved on stone until
love opened itself to oblivion's work.

The poem is written as an Etheree.
