A really nice poem that packs a lot into it, I think. I like your choice of the word “buzzy” over “busy.” A “busy bee” is a cliché, but you change it into something new with “buzzy” AND at the same time let us hear what the bee sounds like. Then we go from one little bee buzzing around to “saving the earth,” a really big shift (love it) from tiny to huge and it’s true, too, that bees are so literally important to the earth. And how do they do it? By “kissing flowers,” a beautifully romantic image, and it gives me the sense that saving the earth is done through an act of love, and through a really simple act, a kiss. The saving power of a kiss. I hope you don’t mind this long reply! Beautiful work! http://justuscreek.com Reply
Thank you very much for this very thoughtful comment. I appreciate your effort and appreciation so, please have no worries about what you think is a rather ‘longish’ comment. 🙂 Reply

Got to admire bees, saving the earth one flower at a time!
Little workhorses, they are. 🙂

Love the contrast of the busy hardworking bee to its task of kissing flowers.
