SLENDER BLUE-EYED GRASS (for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Purple)

These  lovely little wildflowers grow in the meadows.  Though they are just a tad bigger than a dime and grow alongside taller grass, Slender Blue-eyed flowers are easy to spot because of their purplish color and elegant bearing.

  1. Oh! We had a patch of this at our old house, it always seemed so special to see what looked like grass flower, I miss it! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

    1. There must be some lurking somewhere in your fields. 🙂 I always look for them when we visit family in Maine. They are really cute.
