Hope lies
by the windowsill
seeds are waking
the heart of spring.

Happy First Day of Spring! The new day brings renewed enthusiasm for the things I enjoyed doing – like blogging and taking pictures. All those grey around us pushed me in a state of hibernation, so to speak. 🙂
Thank you all for visiting this virtual home during the time I was away. 🙂

Lovely for the first day of spring!
Thank you, Christy. 🙂 Happy spring day.
Happy Spring, Imelda 🙂
and to you, too. 🙂
Gosh, you are ready for gardening already? What are you growing?
Those are cilantro seedlings. We dropped by a Big Lots store two weeks ago and my eldest son saw those seed containers on sale. He thought it would be neat to grow cilantro from seedlings and have some on hand for the salsa he dreams of having when we pick our summer tomatoes. 🙂
Excellent. They are so easy to grow and he has the right idea.
Lovely poem with a simple yet striking photo too boot. Happy Spring, Imelda. Hope the weather’s warming up for you and you get to go outdoors more. Fun in the sun and warmth 😀
So perfect for the challenge, Imelda. 🙂
Beautiful thoughts so beautifully expressed. Thank you for sharing.
happy spring, Imelda! lovely shot and words, as always!
I have my bit of earth in my basement under a sunlamp. Still fields of snow, far as my eye can see.
Lovely to see you back Imelda, I missed you! Beautiful photo and poem as always. And spring is in the air 🙂
Very nice! I have a feeling you’ll be out taking lots of pics really soon 🙂
HI, Janna. Thanks.
I hope so. Perhaps Spring will bring back the inspiration to take photos and to write. I am having a difficult time firing up the creative engines in my head recently. 🙂
Great choice for the challenge!
