I like shooting against the light. How I love the glow of the early sun on the velvety rose petals. The mist that reflect the light crown the flowers with little diamonds that make roses more beautiful than they already are. The shadows make the morning beauty standout. π

Gentle is the shadow
that cradled the rose as she slept
and let her greet the dawn
exalting in its grace
like a heart that quickens
at love’s healing embrace.

FOR WPC: SHADOWED
My goodness, you’re talented!
Thanks, Terri. The law of averages was working for me – the chances of having a decent shot after taking a dozen rise considerably. π
