Purple is mourning
it is the color of Lent
to remind one of the King
whose arms on the cross were stretched
But it is also the rainbow’s violet
without which it cannot be complete.
It’s been awhile since I participated in Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge. Hers is one of the places I enjoyed linking with. Then suddenly, I found myself without time to take as much photos as I used to, or inspiration to take pictures. But, I have a new camera and it is the beginning of spring. Time and inspiration permitting, I hope to join her circle of friends more or less regularly again. 🙂
Thank you for coming by. Have a wonderful first of Spring. 🙂
Such a gorgeous purple primrose. I adore it!! Thanks for playing!

Beautiful – purple is my favorite color 🙂
I had royal purple Iris in my wedding bouquet along with white roses…I heard later that in Finland the purple Iris is a mourning flower. 🙂

Thanks, Cee. It is quite an honor. 🙂
Congrats! What a unique ‘pose’. 😉
Thanks, firstandfabulous. 🙂 It’s not that unique though because I have been inspired by many similar and better executed photos that I have seen before. 🙂
Well, I guess I need to get out more. LOL. Regardless, I’m glad I finally saw it done. 😉
Congrats on being featured.
