Children will play with anything
from dirt to bugs to expensive toys
each one is special
gives its own kind of fun

One of my sons bought this doll house from a thrift shop. The boys now use it as barracks for their toy soldiers, among others. πŸ™‚

when it is in his brother’s hands
and then you can be sure
the value of the toys appreciates
faster than stocks
in a bullish market

There will be screaming and crying
accusations of injustice
because no one gives in
to a sibling’s hysterics.

Pig pile
What’s a mother to do?
She can never be complacent –
how soon can children’s laughter
turn to hairsplitting yells
Well, she can hope
they’ll outgrow
these childish games.

    1. True. And because of that, we have some boxes stocked somewhere because one of the children decided to make it his armored car or something. πŸ™‚

      1. Sleeping better Imelda..still tired but it will take a while I suppose to get strength back… .just waiting for my nose to heal inside totally…. thanks for asking…. Diane

      2. It’s nice to know that your health is looking up. Recovery may take time (as all things are) but at least things are looking up. God bless you, Diane. πŸ™‚

  1. Love the shot of the tiny bully straddling his older brother! Looks adorable and fun from here……but I imagine you feel like tearing your hair out some days πŸ™‚ I know my daughter does!

  2. Loved these photos of your darling boys Imelda and how they reminded me of when my boys used to play together when little – and still like to give each other a friendly ‘punch’ upon greeting (they are 31 and 24!)

The same thing happened with my daughter’s doll’s house πŸ™‚
