There might have been other swans in the pond
from the outside, each one looks like the others
webbed feet, yellow beak, and white feathers
it’s a wonder how a swan finds the one
it will bind itself to for all its life
some inner grace or beauty
that’s known to anyone
calls one to the other
to build the bond
of a lifetime.

That is a beautiful poem and perfect photo. Much like humans, I guess, in finding the one they love.
Thanks, Angeline. Aren’t swans fascinating creatures? 🙂
Thanks. 🙂
Wow. That is so pretty with the swans!
Thanks, Java Girl. It was a lucky chance. When I noticed that the swans were interacting nicely with each other, I waited to see if they would get close enough as to make this form.
Simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Diane. 🙂
This is a beautiful photo Imelda.
Beautiful, I love swans 🙂
Swans are so delightful…look how they are forming a heart with their beaks touching?!♥
I love it… just the other day we had to stop our car while a pair of swans waddled across the road…and my husband and I remarked about them mating for life…Diane
Oh, your swans are back! Lovely poem and photo 🙂
