WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: DELICATE

A newborn is as delicate as delicate gets – tiny hands, soft bones, body organs still developing. My baby was born a month before due date. We were in constant watch for any sign that would have had him confined to neonatal care until his system functioned fully. My baby was delicate though one would not know by looking at this photo. πŸ™‚
She is my grandmother. She is 98 years old. She claims to be 99, however. Becasue of her age, she is already in delicate health. Yet, it is not only her health that is delicate. She has a delicate temperament - she is so sensitive her eyes will mist at the drop of a hat, especially if that 'hat' has anything to do with her family.

Man’s days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish.

  1. This is so touching ..the youngest and the eldest – and both are so delicate and frail..in many ways. All good wishes for you and your family πŸ™‚

  2. Extreme of ages are delicate but they are also our source of strength and inspiration. Your grandmother is awesome. I wish mine was still alive so my son can meet her. But life is delicate and unpredictable.
