Here is a bunch of photos – mish mash of photos – that I took today.

Blue skies
green fields
dark woods
shimmery wings.

Tractor roaring
wood splitting
bees buzzing
breeze whispering.

Flowers blooming
plants growing
birds soaring
children playing.

A beautiful day.
Hearts appreciating
Souls praying.
Recollecting.

    • No, it is my in-laws’ place. It does feel like we are in a golf course sometimes. And it offers a safe place for the children to play and roam around in. 🙂

    • Thank you for your visit and comment Stacia. 🙂 Fortunately for him, he did not have to chop everything, but only those that are too big for the woodstove. 🙂

  1. Beautiful pictures and what a lovely place! So much space for the kids to roam!? No wonder your little one had such a big smile… The butterfly pic is amazing!

    • Thanks, Sandra. 🙂 It is really a beautiful place where the children can roam around freely. It is my in-laws’. 🙂 It is just a ‘little’ difficult to maintain too. 😀

  2. It must be wonderful to live close to your in-laws and for the children to grow up knowing their grandparents. My husband served in the Navy during the children’s growing up years, and we moved all over the country as well as three years in Italy.
This area is really beautiful and you have captured a delicious sense of coolness in the sunshine with all the green, and the feeling of a peaceful, relaxing day.

    • Thank you, Ruth for dropping by and the nice words. Yeah, it is nice that we have family who is just driving distance away from us, though it takes at least 6 hours to get there. My side of the family is half a world away.

It must be tough to be constantly moving – we have a friend whose husband is also in the Navy and who move every 6 months or so – though there is the consolation of being able to see and know places others can only dream about. 🙂
