Lines of power
lines of beauty
transport me
to eternity.
I guess I am in a musical mood today.
Well, this might be a bit jarring after I posted the opening notes of Canon in D, but this piece is equally satisfying. 🙂 And Sarah Chang, an excellent violinist, did a very good job with this one. I hope you enjoy this version of Bach’s Air in G.

I love the combination of your words and photos, with the music….very nice 🙂
Thank you, Colleen. I appreciate your feedback a lot. 🙂
OMG … these photos are gorgeous!! I absolutely loved the video. Sarah Chang is amazing! 😀
She is amazing indeed. I heard that she was a child prodigy. She has a video in YT playing Salut d’Amour when she was 10. And it was one of the best versions of that piece that I’ve heard.
I have to seek that one out. I would love to hear it. 😀
Here she is, all ribbons, lace and bows and talent too. 🙂
OMG … Thank you so much. I really appreciate this. How amazingly talented. My goodness!! This was wonderful. Thanks again. 😀
Very nice.
Thanks, K. 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you, Hobbler. 🙂
Oh, you KNOW I LOVE this post! I love your violin pictures (I’ve been thinking about doing the same with DD’s violin). These are beautiful pictures; absolutely fantastic. You spilled my goosebumps when I saw ‘Canon in D’. (Wink).
Hey Sandra! Thanks thanks. 🙂 You know, for awhile, I kept confusing your name with Sarah’s, the violinist. :-))
Nice post. 🙂
Thank you, Inge. 🙂
I love the light on your last picture.
Thanks for your visit and comment on my blog.
Sweet photos, and beautiful words Imelda. And salamat for visiting my blog post on hands weaving at Native Leaf.
Thank you, Lola Jane, for the visit and the nice words. Salamat salamat. 🙂
Beautiful photos and music. Do you play the violin? I played as a teenager in middle school and high school. Not sure I could play anymore, since it has been such a long time. Great post for the letter V! 🙂
Thank for the visit and comment, Claudia. I play a little. I learned to play in my late twenties – got to intermediate level ( I think) and got stuck. I try to play these days, but I can hardly concentrate with children wanting to play whenever I hold the violin, or wanting silence for their naps.
I think you only need to warm up and get your fingers working again. You already have the basics. 🙂 I bet you play better than you think.
Imelda, thanks for the encouragement.
Welcome, Claudia. 🙂
thank you, Imelda, so much for the

Bach’s “Air on a g-string BWV 1068” was played
at our wedding – so our heart is touched again …

beautiful post, the violin is a really special instrument!
Thank you, dadirri7. I agree wholeheartedly with you about the violin being special. 🙂
This is the first time I’ve heard of this violinist. Thanks for introducing me to her – beautiful choice for this week. This is a lovely post complete with poetic lines, visual imagery, video clips of music! Perfect. 🙂
Yeah, she is pretty good, isn’t she?
Thank you so much for your visit and lovely comments. 🙂
Nice detail shots of the voilin – good choice for the challenge
