I am counting down to spring…. This photo was taken from Roger Williams Conservatory in Providence, RI.
Today, I had the chance to check on the plants in the garden. I saw bulbs sprouting. There is a little peony head coming up too. My spring ritual has begun – counting the bulbs that shoot out from the ground – everyday.
Have a beautiful day.
Love, not like! Begonias are one of my favorites.
We now winter in Florida but I remember this ritual all too well. I hate to say it, but I almost miss the excitement of slowly seeing my plants come alive.
We will return to Michigan the middle of April so I should see some nice growth by then – but will miss my daffodils.
Beautiful. I love begonia too. Yes, soon spring:)
This reminds me of how the kiddos count down to Christmas
Gorgeous! Your seasonal transitions seem exciting somehow, compared to our boringly constant weather
It took me a few years to get used to the seasons. There was a time when I wanted a perpetual spring. I guess that is why I made my spring countdown. I wanted to see colors year round, just as I did in the tropics.
Beautiful photo. You have a wonderful day as well!
I’m excited that Spring is here. Beautiful flower that gives a preview of what this season has to offer. God bless.
Beautiful red begonias! There’s nothing sprouting here yet, as we are getting dumped with a big snow storm right now with a SNOW DAY! I get so excited at the thought of sprouting bulbs and new leaves. I can’t wait until spring!
They are already sprouting under the snow, I bet yah. Hang on – a few more days and spring comes.
So fresh and beautiful!
Yeah! I’m so happy that you are seeing signs of spring! It’s a beautiful time of year! Have a wonderful day!
oh wow…so beautiful…it was a wonderful spring day over here as well…magical…
