POETICS: THE ART OF LETTING GO

LETTING GO

Winter melts to spring
blooms to summer
fades to fall
turns to  winter

Nature keeps for itself
neither beauty nor decay
it ever lets go
as a flower sheds its petals
to summon the seeds
falling to the ground
to bring forth new life.

i think we can learn a lot from nature…yeah..she knows that letting go births new life…keeps nothing for herself…i like the turn from letting go to giving as well..

This is a beautiful poem. The ‘circle of life’ must happen.

This is beautiful – letting go is part of the cycle of life, and without letting go, there can be nothing new.

so true it is a rolling education

There’s something so very comforting about the reoccurring cycles of nature that we can count on! Every time I visit your blog, Imelda, I get a huge urge to write for Promptly. Hopefully I can get something up soon. I love your short poems. Simple, meaningful, and enjoyable.

  8. ManicDdaily says:

And even the decay is very beautiful. But harder when one has a definite personality. Thanks. k.

Ahhh the nature’s cycle is very much of life. One goes out, another one comes in. Hope springs eternal, indeed.
