WILD WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: FLOWERS

What a lovely belated birthday gift; what an encouragement to do more of what I like – taking photos.  The rest of the winning photos can be found here.

This week, the challenge is FLOWERS.  Flowers were my initial inspiration to want to take pictures.  Needless to say, I have a lot of flower photos, learning photos, should I say.   Here are some of my better photos, I think  , most of which have never  been posted in this blog.  I am sorry to not have any new picture to join with.  Right now, all the plants in the garden are still  asleep.  I look forward to them blooming again.  In the meantime, here is a promise of color and beauty from our backyard:
