The theme this week made me think of darkness broken by light. So my first impulse was to have pictures of things that brighten the night. I almost forgot that the sun is the greatest of all the lights. we’ll be in unbroken darkness without it. So, I included two daylight pictures showing sunlit images.
Thank you for coming by and I am glad you visited. Have a great day. ![]()

These are very lovely!
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thanks a lot, Wendy.
Blessings to you as well.
I love that fireplace shot! We’re having a spell of very cold nights (not as cold as yours, for sure) .
Hi Angeline.
That photo is from Maine where is a lot colder. We have since gone back to our warmer place here in MA.
Come to think of it, we have not had a snow since we arrived a week ago. In fact, it has been raining and our grass is green!
I love all your photos, but especially the hands reaching for the red bow.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks, Francine.
I like those hands too because they seem to tell a story.
It was a lucky shot because those hands would not keep still. I cropped the picture though to focus just on the hands.
Hi Imelda…It is my favourite pic as well…I find a kind of magic atmosphere there…You did it wonderful!!!
Great choices for response to prompt ! Enjoyed looking at each and every one of them …thanks for sharing.
Peace,
Siggi
Thanks for coming by and for the kind words, Siggi.

wonderful and for me, dramatic photos.. beautiful..
Thanks, Kz.
Very nice collage of images. There is something beautiful about light coming from darkness.
Thanks, Life&Ink.
I think that means hope though I was not thinking of that when I posted the pictures.
My absolute favourite is the one of the two hands. Love the light in that one.
Thanks, Colline.
It was a lucky capture, I guess since I was just trying to take a photo of my MIL and my son as they took out Christmas decor. I am glad that that photo came out.
Lovely photo collections as usual. I especially love the photos with two hands, beautiful composition.
Also I like the photo of your boy’s writing on paper.
Thanks, Inge.
I appreciate your comment and visit.

Our dog’s already doing better.. she’s got strong pain medication and they have side effects. I hope she’ll get along without these painkillers in the next days..
I am glad to hear about her improvement. May she continue to get better, Ocean.
These are beautiful, Imelda. So soft and warm.
